Borys the Bear

Borys spent 10 years welded shut in a circus car. On 29th October 2013 he came to The New Zoo in Poznan to live in a special sanctuary for bears. The sanctuary is not a farm, but a home for harmed bears, where they can peacefully live in conditions similar to those offered by nature. It is also a place where visitors to the Zoo can find out more about bears. In 2019 Borys was adopted by Beyond Motors International. It is a form of adoption based on financial contributions, where we have the opportunity to support the New Poznan Zoo and its residents.
